Frederiksborg Fire & Rescue Service (FBBR)

Frederiksborg Fire & Rescue Service (FBBR) is a municipal Fire & Rescue Service, established on January 1st. 2016 as a partnership between the emergency services in Egedal, Frederikssund, Furesø, Gribskov, Halsnæs and Hillerød municipalities.

It is Frederiksborg Fire & Rescue's ambitious goal to be one of the leading Fire & Rescue services in Denmark. Our long-term strategic vision and goal is to improve social, economic and environmental welfare for the inhabitants of our municipalities through a targeted preventive and remedial effort.

Our primary task under the Emergency Preparedness Act is to provide a quick response to the emergencies. However, we would rather make it unnecessary for the citizens to call us. Our preventive work includes conducting fire inspections, fire technical construction case processing and training in elemental firefighting and first aid.

Rasmus L. Lillemose, M.A. in General Education

A firefighter by heart and a didactical resource in teaching, and evaluation of fire and rescue oriented education.

Rasmus started with the Frederiksborg Fire & Rescue Service, in 2018, after he finished his Master's degree, at the University of Aarhus. But already during his studies, he was an active resource in the volunteer fire brigade. Today his main tasks are facilitating learning-oriented projects at the fire service, as well as managing the youth fire brigade and municipal relations with local education centers.

Rasmus was involved in the CASCADE project, to contribute with his knowledge on ‘Human and the machine’ theory, about how individuals introduced to new systems, are coping with, or fighting the technology, pending on how the new technology are presented to them.
